You’re finally there. After months of planning your Indian wedding, you’re in the final stretch. This article is a quick reference for the final Indian wedding details for your DJ. We recommend working on the DJ venue set up details no later than 1 month before you wedding weekend. There are a lot of moving parts and people. You might be working with a day-of coordinator, who’s connecting with your vendors and the venue. And the venue has their own in-house banquets and AV team that they’re working with. So the sooner things are taken care of, the better.
For the music, items you might still be figuring that out 1-3 weeks before the wedding. The sooner, the better.

- Does the DJ need a table to set up on? If so, will your venue provide it?
- Does this table need linen matching the décor? If so, who is going to provide that and make sure that it gets to the DJ?
- Is the venue aware of the power needs of your DJ?
- Has the DJ provided the venue all the necessary paper work? waivers, insurance documents etc.?

Reception
- Does the DJ have the songs for the grand entrances?
- Does the DJ have the names and how to pronounce the names for the grand entrances?
- Does the DJ have the first dance song?
- Does the DJ have the cake cutting song?
- Does the DJ have the music for all of the performances for the sangeet, reception and any other events?
