{Selecting the Venue: Marriott Newport Beach Hotel & Spa}

For us, selecting the right venue was one of the most important decisions. With 500 guests we needed a venue that could comfortably accommodate that many guests, South Asian-friendly and had the look we wanted. The Marriott Newport Beach Hotel & Spa has all of the above. Plus, everywhere I looked there was always a helping hand for not only myself but everyone who attended the wedding. The Marriott’s staff was very helpful in every aspect!

With three outdoor ceremony venues, a popular feature at this Marriott is to utilize one venue for the ceremony and another outdoor venue for lunch after the ceremony. We got married in The Rose Garden, the largest ceremony venue and served we served lunch in the Sea View Terrace.

We spent A LOT of time on decor – conceptualizing to refining details. Getting all of the little details worked out was important to us.
