The Grand Ballroom at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown is the largest hotel ballroom in the City of Bridges. With capacity for over 1000 guests, this ballroom can be divided into sections and configured for your events.
The Wyndham Grand features multiple spaces in a fun downtown location for your mehndi, sangeet, wedding ceremony and reception.
The King’s Garden Ballroom seats up to 350 guests with a dance floor and features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Point State Park and the river. In between wedding events your friends and family can gather at the two on-site lounges.
Close to the International Airport: This beautiful Indian wedding venue is only about 20 miles west of the Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT).
Notice the chairs in the photo below. These are the chairs that come with wedding packages. You are welcome to rent other chairs and have them brought in.

Pointers
Runways leading to the mandap. The elevated runway is a nice touch aesthetically. It can make things more challenging for your photo and video team – as getting across a runway is more difficult than a flat aisle-way – something to discuss with your vendors.
They rented gold chiavari chairs from an outside vendor. These chairs look nice. But they’re not as comfortable as other chairs because of the ‘dandas’ – rods across the back of the chair. And if you’re sitting in them for 1-2 hours…most people are fine but think about having some other chairs for the elderly.
According to Raj Gujral, the Founder of Sound Nation and one of the longest running Indian wedding DJs in the country, ideally the DJ and the pandit or officiant are positioned where they face each other so they can give each other non-verbal cues. Such as play music, stop music, adjust the volume on the mic etc.
