White and Gold Indian Wedding Decor
This bride decided to focus on an unconventional color for her Indian wedding reception – white. This wasn’t a “White Party” but as you can see it was the primary color of the evening. The pops of gold and orangish/gold are a fabulous contrast! Notice the medallion in the center of the dance floor and the lounge furniture surrounding the dance floor. The white napkins on top of gold charger plates look stunning but even more so the style – dangling off the table.
Also notice the texture in the table linens. The texture gave the tables even more style as compared to plain white linens.
The Runway Aisle
At the wedding ceremony, a unique feature was the runway aisle. Instead of a traditional aisle, Shilpa walked down a runway that led to the stage and mandap. Runways look really cool but they make things more challenging for photographers and cinematographers. They can’t cross a runway easily. Instead it requires someone to be on either side of the runway. For photography that is easier than for cinematographers trying to take continuous footage. You may have to pay for more staff and more video editing as a result.
