The answer is a resounding yes! Lots of people are opting out of cake for luxurious dessert bars and other treats.

We know a couple that served an assortment of donuts and another that had s’mores at their reception!

How much do dessert bars cost? It varies, of course, based on the quantity of items and number of guests but you can assume they start at least $1500-$2000 for an average South Asian wedding.

We recommend always serving at least one Indian dessert for those that prefer it.

Money Saving Cake Hack

The larger the cake the more it costs. Order a smaller decorative cake but actually serve a sheet cake.
