Annual events in Huntington Beach: for wedding date selection
US Open of Surfing – is two weekends, every year, towards the end of July/beginning of August. In 2018 it’s July 20-22 and July 29-29. The 2nd weekend is when finals are held so there tend to be more people. The event draws thousands of people and traffic in the area definitely backs up.
ShaadiShop booked a couple to have their wedding at the Waterfront Resort on weekend 1, 2017 and they’re excited! They have a lot of people coming from out-of-town and the Surf Open will give them an even more authentic, Cali experience!
July 4th Parade – the annual parade celebrating american independence is held on July 4th on Pacific Coast Highway. The good news is that most South Asians don’t actually have their wedding on July 4th. It’s usually on the 2nd or the 3rd, but for those that are considering it – something to think about.
Huntington Harbor Holiday Lights – every December there’s a Harbor Holiday Lights Boat Tour. It’s usually the two weekends before Christmas. You’ll see thousands of lights on boats, decks, homes, and docks.
